  8. SysInspector is a new system monitor for AmigaOS.  It allows you to view 
  9. what tasks are currently running on your system and suspend or kill them, 
  10. remove locks left behind by buggy applications, generate mountlists for 
  11. mounted devices, and much more!

  14. The main goals while developping it were:
  15.  
  16.  o Stability and reliability - you want to remove crashed tasks, not to 
  17.    crash another one.
  18.  
  19.  o Usefulness - it must allow you to do more than just view what's on your 
  20.    system.
  21.  
  22.  o A modern, font-adaptive, and easy-to-use GUI, by using the ClassAct
  23.    BOOPSI toolkit.  No cryptic commands to remember.
  24.  
  25.  o Be useful for both the casual user who's only curious and for the 
  26.    advanced user who needs to remove crashed tasks or libraries.

  28.  o User-configurability.

  31. SysInspector requires at least Kickstart 3.0 or better, and the ClassAct 
  32. BOOPSI classes installed on your system.  The latest ClassAct archive can 
  33. be found at: ftp://ftp.warped.com/pub/amiga/classact/

  36. SysInspector is released as (non-crippled) Shareware.  The asked fee is 
  37. 15$ US.

  45.        ° NEW: TASKPRI argument in the commandline.

  47.        ° NEW: Mounts sort method can be configured.

  52.               readjust your "Initial List" setting in your preferences and

  62.          if they're of ZorroII or ZorroIII type.

  64.        ° Assign list now supports paths upto 150 chars long (still only the
  65.          first 50 chars displayed).  Should fix the "Fault 120" errors 
  66.          happening too often to those with long path names.

  68.        ° SI will stop playing shy and will display its own info in the
  69.          More window when its task is selected.
